The Role
We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Manager to join an established and well-run construction company delivering high-quality civil, drainage and excavation projects across Auckland.
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone with strong civil construction experience who understands a project from the ground up and can confidently manage teams, safety, timeframes and day-to-day site operations.
The successful candidate will be considered for an immediate start, with permanent employment available for the right person.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager or in a similar senior civil construction role
* Strong knowledge of civil construction, drainage and excavation
* Full New Zealand driver's licence
* Confident leading and managing site teams
* Strong communication skills with the ability to relay plans and instructions clearly
* Ability to work to deadlines and project timeframes
* Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements across residential and commercial sites
* Strong knowledge of site procedures, tools and civil construction methods
* Reliable, organized and able to take ownership of projects
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing residential and commercial civil projects across Auckland
* Organising site teams, labour and daily activities
* Leading toolbox meetings and site briefings
* Conducting and overseeing Health & Safety assessments
* Working closely with planners, foremen and project teams
* Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard
* Managing day-to-day site operations and resolving issues as they arise
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation
